Introducing Black Swan Haus Collection: A Story of Elegance, Meaning, and Home

Every great creation begins with a story. For me, the story of Black Swan Haus Collection started on the sun-soaked shores of Aruba, where I found myself captivated by the presence of a single black swan when passing through the Hyatt. He was unlike the other swans I had seen. He was striking, graceful, and rare. There was something mesmerizing about him. He carried himself with a kind of effortless elegance and quiet power that lingered with me long after the trip ended.

That image stayed in my heart and sparked something creative in me. I knew I wanted to build a brand that embodied that same essence: beauty, individuality, and timeless class. And so, the Black Swan Haus Collection was born.

To bring this vision to life, I turned to the two people who know me best. My Aunt Bonnie, a phenomenal artist with an uncanny ability to capture emotion and elegance in her work, created the first painting of our swan. She understood exactly what I saw in him—the subtle strength, the rare grace—and translated it into a stunning visual. Then came my dear friend Lauren, who helped me refine the design and bring it to life in a way that felt deeply personal and aligned with the brand. Together, we created our muse: Bella—a name that combines Bonnie and Lauren, a perfect tribute to their artistry and friendship.

But Black Swan Haus is more than a logo. It’s a philosophy. It’s about curating a collection of home goods that feel luxurious, meaningful, and personal. I’ve always believed in celebrating the little things—using the beautiful bag instead of saving it for a “special occasion,” lighting the good candle, gifting the handmade soap that smells like a dream. Life is happening now, and we should surround ourselves with things that bring us joy and comfort.
